Cartier is best known for its jewelry and watch-making.
The founder, Louis-François Cartier, believed culture to be the most important value, and that writing had utmost importance. Naturally the company expanded to produce fine writing instruments, and have created so many stunning pieces over the years.
In 2019 Montblanc launched the MB Meisterstück Solitaire Gold Leaf Calligraphy Fountain Pen with Flexible Nib (Ref. 119700). The similarities are obvious but IMO the original Cartier finishing plays in another league.
