The design of the Onoto Magna Classic is based on one of the most famous fountain pens ever made - the Onoto Magna of 1937, which some have dubbed “the best fountain Pen ever made”
Made from high density acrylic, this is a satisfying robust pen, with chased barrel nicely set of the polished Sterling Silver band, a pocket clip inscribed with a chevron pattern and the Silver cap button is engraved with the official Royal Platinum Jubilee logo.
The barrel is inscribed with “Onoto the Pen” and “Made in England”
Onoto is the only quintessentially British fountain pen maker that connects historic innovations with the preservation of traditional skills. In 1905 Onoto created the first ever self-filling fountain pen, Onoto the Pen, and has since repeatedly proven its ingenuity by developing innovative products in a traditional category, like handmade fountain pens. Our limited collections of fountain pens are redolent of history and valued not only by connoisseurs but those who treasure rituals and cultural stories that help discover the eternal within.
