Very Rare Parker Duofold Marble Orange Fountain Pen, Pencil and a Piece of Rod
Very Rare Parker Duofold Marble Orange Fountain Pen, Pencil and a Piece of Rod
Parker Duofold Marble Orange Fountain Pen, Pencil and a Piece of Rod.
The modern Duofold was launched in 1987 using a newly developed Acrylic called Methyl Methacrylate.
The pattern was exclusive to Parker and various colour experiments were carried out including Orange and Grey, neither of which went into production - Orange was too bright, Grey too dull! we know of two sets of these, this one and one that we believe is in Sweden although Parker may have some in their archives.
The patterning on this prototype colour is identical to that of the production Blue, Green and Burgundy models.
