The story behind these Mercury Mystery Pens:
Made from Tibaldi Impero Celluloid right after Mandarina Duck stopped the Tibaldi project around the year 2000.
Robert Dubois had been the distributor for Tibaldi for the Benelux Countries till the very end. He managed to get hold of a batch of Celluloids and had himself made a limited edition, Mercury Pens, using the Impero Celluloid as well as the Tibaldi Clip.
They were made by Stipula in Florence Launched as a cartridge converter filler, Not all were sold, and a small batch was recently sold without Nib or Feed.
We have fitted a Bock 14k Gold Nib on this one with a cartridge converter.
The Pen comes with an Italian leather 3 pen case.
Make no mistake about it, this is a Grail Pen.
